Head Coach Mark Hunisett played at England Under 21 and National League hockey for a number of years as centre forward before coming to Sanderstead.
Mark is currently taking is level 2 hockey coaching badge and has started to get involved in helping run the sussex youth squad.
"my intetnions for this season is to see both the 1's and 2's getting promotion and encouraging a number of our Youth Academy players to start progressing through the ranks"
Running the training alongside Mark is First team Player / Coach Denzil Dolley who played for South Africa in the Athens Olympics. Denzil's role sees him concentrate on the individual development which often sees him working one on one with a number of players in the club.
Alongside Mark and Denzil is ex first team player Roger Wallbank who this year has been appointed as the Club's Fitness Coach. His full time job as a PE Teacher allows Roger to work on fitness specfic to hockey.
"You can win or loose a hockey match in the last 10 minutes of a game. The fitter team will always give themseleves an edge over opposition"
